The Proxima Nova font, released in 2005, is a modern typeface that blends the geometric style of Futura with the versatility of Akzidenz Grotesk. Originally launched as Proxima Sans in 1994 with just six fonts, the Proxima Nova font was reimagined into a much broader family featuring modern proportions and a clean, geometric aesthetic.
Today, the Proxima Nova font family includes 80 fonts supporting a wide range of languages and scripts, including Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese, Arabic, Thai, Devanagari, Hangeul, Hebrew, and Tamil. Since 2010, Proxima Nova fonts have been the most widely used commercial fonts on the web.
