Viroqua Regular Font

Viroqua Regular is a part of the Viroqua font family. It includes OpenType features such as common ligatures, fractions, and several more. Viroqua Regular Font is ideal for editorial, legible, and newspaper usage.

Viroqua is a redesign of Kandal (1994), one of my first typefaces, after 30 years more practice at type design. It’s a hybrid, combining old style details with modern proportions. It has fairly low contrast, with wedge-shaped slab serifs. Viroqua is very comfortable to read in text, and the boldest weights provide a lot of impact at display sizes. Viroqua features small caps, old style and lining figures (both proportional and tabular), superscript and subscript figures, fractions, and dingbats.
